How to record a Tango live as MP4
Tango has no button to save lives. With TangoCapture Pro, a Telegram bot, you paste the live link and get the full video as an MP4 when it ends.
What you need
A Telegram account, on phone or PC. Nothing else to install.
The tango.me link of the live or profile you want to save.
Step by step
- Open @TangoCapturePro_bot in Telegram and tap Start. Choose your language.
- From your first /start you get the free plan: 2 lives a day (Live and Live Party), up to 10 minutes, with a watermark.
- Copy the live link from tango.me and paste it in the bot chat. Recording starts on its own.
- You can close Telegram: the bot keeps recording for you.
- When the live ends, the MP4 arrives in the chat. Very long lives arrive in parts with no quality loss.
What quality is the video?
The bot saves the live in the quality Tango streams it, without re-encoding. No notifications, no app interface, no drain on your phone battery.
Longer recordings or several at once
For longer recordings or several at a time, open /planes in the bot. Plans are paid only with Telegram Stars, no card needed, and activate instantly.

Yes: the free plan allows 2 lives a day of up to 10 minutes. Paid plans extend duration and simultaneous recordings.
Do I need to stay online while it records?
No. Once recording starts you can close Telegram; the video arrives when the live ends.
Does the bot unlock paid lives?
No. It only records lives you already have access to on Tango.
